Sip while you shop at one of my favorite nights before the holiday frenzy!!
I've attended Smudge Ink's Sip & Shop for the past few years as a shopper and it's so much fun! You get to enjoy treats, music, and the best local makers from chocolate to beer, pottery to a letterpress demo! Last year, my good friend and studio mate, Jessica Klein, and I had a ball working the press with one of Smudge Ink's printers and stocking up on the cutest letterpress cards!
This year, I'm so excited that we'll be on the other side of this festive event as a seller! Shop our Everyday Napkin Bar at Smudge Ink on Thursday, November 5th from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. We will also be joining Smudge Ink in donating a portion of our sales to the Charlestown Boys & Girls Club.

Shop Becky's beautiful vintage finds and our new Spring Collection along with our Limited Edition Blue Rose & Pom Pom Collection created exclusively for this Pop-Up with Pop & Circumstance!
So She Did was started by a friend of mine, Victoria Song, as a resource and place for young women to invest in themselves, from the inside out. When Victoria started So She Did over a year ago, she initially asked me if I could contribute some advice to the early development of the brand. Once I learned more about the mission she set out to achieve with So She Did, I knew I wanted to be involved beyond providing design advice. Today, I help Victoria strategize how So She Did gets roll-out from a brand perspective.
Inspired by the call to action, “she believed she could, so she did,” So She Did aims to empower women to develop the confidence and courage to define their own measures of self-worth. This is a much-needed contradiction to the media and societal images shaping young women's perceptions of what makes a woman complete and praiseworthy. While fashion and beauty are fun to play with, it cannot be the source of self-confidence. Self-esteem does not come from what you wear or how you look but from within. So She Did helps women find their own voice, listen to their internal compass and empower them with self-authorship to define their own measures of self-worth.
So She Did encourages young women all over the world to share their proud and fulfilling moments and accomplishments using #SoSheDid. For example, I wanted to build my own brand; I believed I could, #soshedid. And this is just one reason why Becky and I feel so good about supporting So She Did. Not only do we believe in its mission, but we ourselves are following our dreams to build businesses that we are not only proud of but is also fulfilling.
We hope you are inspired by So She Did and will share you moments of self-worth. To learn more, go to www.soshedid.org.
